This is an arts & crafts project that my daughter and I did for her Religious Studies and Art class in our home school (both classes are on the same day, so we combined the two classes that day for this project). I was inspired to do this project after seeing a graphic that made. You can see the picture here:[link]
This was created so that my daughter had a way to remember when and what the Sabbats are. (we are Wiccan) It is proudly displayed on our living room wall.
love the colors, everthing in life is cyclical so this just further establishes that. what do each of the words for the sabbats mean, forgive my curiosity?
Very cute!!! My daughter is just learning now of our faith. Last year both of my kids insisted on participating in Imbolc with me--and we had a blast. They are 11 and 13 now. Their father is Catholic and unfortunately these 2 get tossed around since the divorce. I'm just happy they like to take part though and don't listen to how 'evil' us Wiccans are.
Thank you! Yeah, we are teaching our daughter a little at a time (don't wanna overload her. lol). She's 9, and she's really interested in it. She's always asking around Sabbat time, "what are we gonna do for the Sabbat?" I've actually got a sterling silver pentacle pendant that I plan on passing down to her on her 13th birthday if she decides for sure that she wants to be Wiccan.
You can read about the different Sabbats here: [link]
